Lately i have only been getting 1-2 bars when I used to get 4-5 in the same area. I have had my phone updated, restored and now a new sim card. No change. Any ideas?.

Dbm level? Do you know which LTE frequencies are in use?

I know how important it is to get the best speeds available, LISTIB49. Let's make that happen.
First, I have a few questions to get a better understanding of what is going on.
Can you tell me when these slower speeds started? Do you happen to know what your speeds are? (You can run a test at speedtest.net ) Also, are others experiencing same/ similar issues, that you're aware of? What location? (zip code)

I have a similar issue. My neighborgoid no longer works with Verizon wireless. 5 years ago when I moved in it was fine. Over the past year its hard to not get a call dropped. I have to walk to other side of my house to answer phone. Or go outside to talk. 0 bars in 1/4 mile radius. I would like to put in a ticket to check area please . I had it done before then it worked perfect till I moved. Email me or I will email you my address if you don't have it already.

Hi DEBACLERX!
I'm so sorry to learn of any issues in your area, especially if it's been going on for a year. Let's gather some information to find a resolution. What zip code are you in? Are other VZW customers in the same area having the same issue?

For more than a year now my LTE signal has been switching back and forth from LTE band 13 to LTE(X) band 4.
My signal strength when on band 13 is -90dbm (4 bars) give or take a couple dbm and when on band 4 it's -115dbm (1 bar) give or take a couple dbm.
This switching goes on continuously with varying lengths on any one frequency. I don't understand why it just can't stay on band 13. The app I use shows two different towers so I assume my phone is switching between the two but the signal strength on both towers are so far apart I can't see why the phone would go from the band 13 tower to the band 4 tower.. If they wer both within a couple dbm from each other I could see it but there is a vast difference in dbm between the two..

LISTIB49, if you turn on wi-fi calling, you don't need to worry about signal strength.
