I have a Galaxy s8 and I too noticed that my battery is draining really fast since the last update.
check all notifications, the update may have turned all on.
EBONYROSE44, that is very strange that the battery on your Galaxy S8 is draining so fast. Let's work to get to the bottom of this. Does your device have any physical or liquid damage? I want you to run a health check on your device. I have included a link on how. Once you have run the check let us know what results you get.
