I need to block text messages in the Verizon Message+ application that are being sent by an email address NOT A PHONE NUMBER.
I have the purchased Call Blocking pkg. When I try to block anything there, the app requires a phone number & I cannot enter an email address.
Selecting the message & clicking on the 3 dots on the upper right DOES NOT provide any "block this sender" option.

Spam messages are no fun, bonnygg! No worries, you can block using My Verizon. Just click here for the steps: http://spr.ly/6609JCua1 You can also forward those messages to #SPAM (#7734).

I would suggest that you block all text messages from the web and email domains. See link below for instructions.

I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

I too have the same problem with spam SMS messages sent from bogus email addresses. I followed the instructions, and after clicking "save" the page "thinks" for a bit then responds with an orange box that says it was unable to block vtext.com. Also, the 2 check boxes at the bottom of the page appear to work, but as soon as you leave that page and then return to it, the check boxes are unchecked. Please help!
