I broke the screen on my Samsung Galaxy 4 while on an extended (6 week) trip to Australia. When I tried to get it fixed, the techie said the Galaxy 4 is different in AU than the US, b/c of the operating system, and the screen won't work on my phone. Any suggestions about how to get my phone working again so I'm not phoneless for the next month? Thx.

Yikes! Let's ensure you have a working device, gyrogyrl! Do you have insurance on your account? If so you can reach out to Asurions Global Insurance Claims team at 866-397-6496.

Asurion was not at all helpful until finally I got to the 3rd customer
service person, apparently one of the few people who knows what is going
on. The first two wasted a lot of my time and money, and made my life while
traveling much more difficult than it needed to be.

Hi gyrogyrl,
Thanks for the update. I'm disappointed to learn about the difficulties you experienced by glad to hear the third person was.
