Can't connect to other bluetooth devices with my S7 Edge

I have a Galaxy S7 Edge - "Bluetooth" and "nearby devices" are turned on but can only get a bluetooth connection with my TV. I have a Galaxy tablet (and "bluetooth" and "nearby devices" are turned on) & 2 bluetooth speakers and when I scan, no nearby devices are found. Tried turning the phone on and off too.
