Can't hear other person during phone call

My Galaxy S9 phone volume  is very low to the point I can not hear the other person.

I have checked my incoming volume setting and is set high.

Is there any setting I am missing?

Any help would be appreciated.

Making sure you can hear the individual on the receiving end is a must, tonyo906. When did this first occur? Did this happen after any type of an update? Was there any physical or water damage exposed to the device?
