Phone functionality is not working. Overall device response is alternately slow, wonky (i.e. home screen picture doesn't load) or locks up. The internet recommends a safe boot and erasing the whole phone cache. Did that and also have done a hard factory reset 3 times in the last week. But this issue returns quicker and quicker each time. I'm wondering if the Android 4.4.2 OS has been corrupted and needs a fresh reload. No updates are available. All apps came from Verizon, Samsung, or Google Play. So no funny stuff on the device. I need a fix. Thanks!
