To solution to get your computer to recognize you phone is once your connected with the USB cable swipe down on the phone to get to your message center and tap the Touch for other USB options and select Transfer Media Files.
I can connect to my PC using Win7 just fine. When I boot to Win10 on the same PC, the S7 isn't recognized. It charges but will not connect as a drive. I have tried all of the USB MTP, PTP, etc. options. Nothing works.
