Dropping Verizon!

I was speaking earlier to an associate regarding my inability to send large files from my phone. I play guitar and I just wanted to send some music to my friend. The Verizon associate I spoke to was obviously trained to merely sell me new and expensive products. The associate first told me that my current phone was incapable of sending large files, but at the end of the chat she told me she was unsure if my phone was capable of an upgrade. The only thing I was, and am, interested in is sending larger files. I am completely willing to pay for an upgrade, or a fee for a new service commitment for a new phone, but I do expect my options to be explained to me without any subterfuge. I am deploying to the Middle East in two days and I just wanted to send some music I recorded to my friend before I left. Verizon wasted what little time I had trying to con me. Verizon, I am not impressed. I will remember this when I am considering my next phone. (In case anyone reading this is completely dense... Verizon just lost a customer. I don't have time now to start switching over my number and service provider, but I will when I return from my deployment. Verizon, you wasted my time... you wasted my time... you wasted my time...

First off a cell phone Is Not A Full Fledged Computer. There are sending Limits And Music Files when in a Compressed Zip Format May Even Be Too Large To Send. You Could Download A Zip App From The Play Store And Zip The Music and Try a Send.

Another Way Is To Download Drop box And Upload Music From Your Phone To A Cloud Storage And Then Send the Shared url For The Music. You Then Can Retrieve This Music At Anytime From Any Computer Or Cell Phone.

Another Way Is To Use A Micro Sd Card And Transfer The Music That Way.

I Do Know You Cannot Blame A Cell Company Because Your Music Files Are Too Large. Also Many Isp's Have Send And Receive Limits.

Every Verizon employee can't be a total expert on everything about every phone.  Lighten up.  Use your computer to send large files or put them in Dropbox and send a link.

You don't have time to take care of your business but you got time to stop by here and whine and let all us here that have nothing to do with VZW about your dissatisfaction with some CSR that you ran into without even getting a second opinion.  If your are trying to get your point through about wasting your time about the large file transfers and you wanted to let VZW know then you should have ask to talk with the CSR's boss.  This is a peer to peer area, VZW people rarely stops by here and when they do they will refer you to a link to read or tell you to use the search box which I assume you may not have done to quarry about large file transfer.  Good luck with your new carrier I hope it all works out for you.  My opinion is that you need to learn to be more patient with the people you do business.  Not all are as swift as you seem to be!
