Facebook messenger/ Custom sounds????

Any idea how to get your custom sounds to work in the Facebook Messenger?  I know how you get them but with the S8 there is a new problem. You can not put your custom sounds for just that app. You have to change ALL the sounds. Doing that messes up everything. It worked for the s7 so this is definitly not a FB messenger issue. Maybe a setting I can change??

Found the fix. You got to go into your settings/notifications/permissions and set to storage!!!
