I recently switched phones with a friend and got the Galaxy S3. I love the phone. However, I am trying to determine why VZW has removed feature from the phone that help make the phone great. I am referring to following features (this is just what I have discovered so far):
1. Stock notification bubble in lock screen
2. Blocking option
3. "Samsung apps" from the hub of apps
By removing "Samsung apps" I cannot figure out how to download S Health. The notification bubble is EXTREMELY disappointing to have removed as this provides notifications for missed calls, texts, and emails in the lock screen. The blocking option also would be a GREAT feature to have back as you can personalize the settings during the night time.
Will these features be restored to the Galaxy S3? If so, when? Why were they removed in the first place?! These features being removed make me extremely hesitant to upgrade to an S4 or remain in my contract with VZW.

Don't hold your breath waiting for answers sashakizzy. These and many other questions go unanswered here.
I've come to the realization that this forum only exists to give us a place to vent our frustration outside the view of potential new customers (who aren't members of the Verizon Community yet).

This is a peer to peer forum and not to be confused as a Customer Service option.
