I'm sure that was a surprise, and I'm sorry to learn this, HBSurfer. Prior to this, was an update performed? Has this unit ever been exposed to any physical or liquid damage?
I am having the same problem. The screen is black or solid blue if I press the power button. Not able to login. No damage. Have already had it replaced once for a different screen glitch.
We want you to be able to enjoy your Galaxy book S. I understand you're getting a black or solid blue screen when pressing the power button. Just to confirm, does this happen when you're not pressing the power button? Please power the device off by simultaneously pressing and holding the volume down & power button for ~10 seconds. Does the problem persist?
