I recently switched from iphone 4s to the S4. I have been driving myself crazy with this issue and have tried everything I can find online and on the forums for it. Group messaging isnt working correctly for me.
I have:
-Unregistered my iphone from apple
-Turned off imessage on it (though only after i switched phones, not sure if that makes the difference)
-Deleted my icloud
-Had my friends make sure SMS is checked in their settings
-Delete me from their contacts and re add me
-Delete all old texts from me
(Im surprised theyre still my friends for making them do all this crap!)
I dont get what else I can do?! Whats weird if I will start a group chat with two of my friends who both have iphones, I will see the responses from one of them and not the other! I also recently got a group chat with about 5 people in it. I didnt receive the initial text (which was sent by an iphone) but i saw a response from another friend who also has an iphone.
Ive seen so many different answers and suggestions but I havent found the thing that actually works!
please help!
I am in the same boat as you and my friends are really starting to get angry. They have begged me to go back to the iphone but that isn't possible without costing $$$$.
I would really like to find out the answer to this issue!!!
