I'm just wondering why this last year or so I have terrible service when I've always had no complaints about Verizon. I have my wifi thru hughesnet , I dont have a landline because Verizon was so good back when but not so now. We have 7 accounts within my family and every one is disappeared with our services.  We basically cant place calls until u get else where. Any help with solutions would greatly reduce the friction around here.

As bearone21 suggests, you could get a network extender for your home.  But they're expensive and you shouldn't have to do this to have good service in your home.  Do you know how far you are from the nearest VZW tower?  This can affect you service.

Felisa, it's important to us that our customers have use of their services where they use their phones the most. I welcome the opportunity to address your inquiry. There are several things that can impact radio frequency signal and how it gets to you. New construction in an area, terrain/atmospheric conditions, building materials, population changes causing increased traffic on a tower and distance from a cell site are just a few of them. This is why we've never been able to guarantee signal indoors. It is because of these obstructions that we make provisions to the device to help with indoor signal. If you're having an issue with services in your home, we do recommend using Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi calling. Your S7 does have this service built-in. Accordingly, you can activate it as follows: https://www.verizonwireless.com/support/knowledge-base-201649/. Do you tend to have issues outside of your home also?

I'm about 5 miles from tower, my outside reception is just as bad here lately.  I have walked around trying to place calls and recieving calls. I'm not very good with today's technology but I feel like if I pay for a service I should be able to use it. I would greatly appreciate any help or suggestions that u think might resolve this issue w/o spending money to" increase my this or  receive lastest gadget to do this".

Its seems like every time a new" tower" (as I've been told several times when I ask for help)  goes up my service gets worse instead of better. Is there not some way that Verizon can help increase the signal or tell us how to w/o $$. Thank for your response to this will be waiting for your response.

Other than using wifi calling, I really idea why your service is so bad.  I have a network extender, but always use wifi calling at home, so I really don't need the extender any more.

We want to make sure that you are able to use your device properly Felisa, and we want to make sure that we go over all the options to assist you. Now just to clarify, were you able to activate the Wi-Fi calling feature on your device?
