Since the update, random flash when receiving a text and NOW I have callback# on incoming and outgoing texts?
I have looked all over settings....
How do I remove the Callback# from texts?
If you're still having issues with the flash, I found a fix.
The flash is a notification for incoming calls, texts, emails, Words with
Friends....most things that you may be receiving notifications for. I just
posted a fix in another place in message board.

You talking the notification on your lock screen, or call back # on your picture messages? The thread you posted refers to the messages popping up on your lock screen.
If it is your call back number (your own #) attached to your text messages, open the text messaging App, click on your sift key menu button, then to settings>scroll down and uncheck the "turn on call back number" box.
Did you get the flash issues fixed, if not there is an easy fix.
Go to Settings>Accessibility>Flash notification. If the box is unchecked, check it and uncheck it and that should stop the flash from flashing during calls. If it is checked just uncheck it, You may have to restart your phone after, don't remember, but it worked for me.
Hit your messaging icon, then hit your menu key, go to setting,scroll down to the bottom, uncheck turn on callback number option. You can also turn off text messages from displaying on your home screen in the same settings area. by unchecking preview message,
