I love my Samsung Galaxy S5 phone. It has some cosmetic issues so I bought a refurbished S5 and I want to transfer all of the data from the old phone to the new phone.
The new S5 does not have a sim card so I will have to use the one in the old phone. How do I transfer the data? (Keeping in mind that I'm a senior citizen so need information in very basic terms. 🙂 )
Thank you in advance!

Have you verified the Samsung Galaxy S5 is HD Voice compatible to be activated on the Verizon Wireless network now?

That's not going to be helpful if it was a phone that used the 1xRTT network to facilitate voice calls.
The OP needs to check the IMEI number from the new phone to verify it can be activated on the Verizon Wireless network. Otherwise they call customer service at 1-800-922-0204 from a landline or another phone and ask them to check if they can activate.

I can understand how important it is to move your information. Ceewolf1. This can be done with ease using the Content Transfer App. Click here for instructions: https://www.verizonwireless.com/support/content-transfer/
Regarding if the S5 will work, if you are swapping your SIM Card from the old phone to the new phone it will work. If you are attempting to activate a new SIM Card for the S5 it will not work. Our CDMA Network is being retired. You can view details on our CDMA Network Retirement here https://www.verizonwireless.com/support/knowledge-base-218813/.
