How to change lock screen clock / address?

Greetings all,

How does one change the lock screen clock information (see image below). I've moved and need to update the address that is displayed on the lock screen.

I used to be able to do this but cannot figure out how to do it anymore, and all the web pages I've found out there so far are not helpful -- they don't give the current answer.

An example of the lock screen is below:

I found a greyed out option to modify this from the lock screen page of the configuration pane but nothing I do re-enables that section.

I've tried changing the lock type to none, but that removes the options completely.

Changing the lock type to swipe merely adds MORE greyed out selections such as "Multiple widgets: Display multiple widgets on your lock screen"

Changing to pattern gives the same greyed out options as PIN.

Android version is 4.4.2 -- if that helps.

I ran across one user who had the same issue, and it was because of a vpn he had saved on his phone. Dunno if thatll help.

Consider this free app as a workaround:

Look for something called "Owner Info". It might be in a different area of the phone settings.

Might also try going into settings>security>device administrators, and turn all admins off
