Settings > Backup and reset > Factory Data Reset.   This will delete all of your personal content so you'll want to save it on the cloud if possible.

scooter229, before you to the FDR, you should do a complete backup of your phone using an app like Smart Switch.  If you have an SD card, I would suggest removing it before you do the reset.

How is your phone after the factory reset. Did it work and were you able to get your settings back the way that were? I know they tell us to do the FDR for just about any problem we have with our phones and I know sometimes they can go great. Just hoping that this is one of those times for you.I would also recommend that you clear the cache partition while you do the FDR. It clears all the old files out of your phone and can improve battery life.

Turn the phone off then press and hold volume up - power - home

Then when the phone goes into recovery mode use the volume down button to highlight

clear cache partition then press power then use volume down to say yes press power

again. Then just reboot the phone. This does not change any of the settings on the phone just clears out

a bunch of the old files that may be conflicting with the new files.
