Like so many others, I have encountered some major degrades in my S7's performance since it upgraded to Nougat a few weeks ago. My two main problems are (with no changes on my part): rapid battery drain and no more notifications on my Always-On-Display. That is, I have to turn the display on to see if any calls or text messages have come through.
Is anyone aware if the parties involved, Verizon, Samsung or Android, are close to coming out with some fixes for the Nougat problems?!!
Many thanks!

There have been two Nougat updates, the second of which didn't deal with any user issues. People are still having problems with Nougat. I will continue to delay installing Nougat.
