Message vs. Message : both free?

I think you will get a lot of different replies on this one. The Messages (yellow one ) takes a lot less memory and battery then the Message+ (red one ). Of course this is all about preference I just think message+ has to much [Removed] in it that I don't need just to message someone. Of course the message+ is from Verizon
