Thanks for that clarifying detail, deheidler. Are you using the Samsung Message app or Verizon Message+ app? Can you advise which keyboard you're using (Samsung Keyboard, Gboard, one that was downloaded from Play Store) and have you tried force stopping it? Also, does this occur with every message?

and yes it occurs every time, not every word in caps but occasionally all words, that fact varies
what is your software version? (settings -> about -> software -> last 4 baseband)
also does it only happen on message+ app? if so, what is the message+ app version?
