Ever since the last update my messages keep saying sending. Also they will send a message a day later. Im not getting my messages for a couple hours after they were sent. This is also the same time that my battery keeps draining even when no apps are running. I have already checked to make sure no apps are running in the background.

Some many like using Messages+ but if your having an issue I'd suggest using the native Samsung messaging app.

Or Google Messages.

This is certainly not how your phone should be performing after an update, LUVNMYREDS19. I would be concerned as well about all of this.
Can you tell me when you did the update? What message application are you using?
Please try powering your phone OFF for two minutes, then back ON. Once it's on, please open the My Verizon Mobile application> select Menu> My Devices> select your device> Manage> Run Device Health Check. That will provide you with information on the Battery, Performance, Storage, and Connectivity.
