Moisture detected error ever since System Update 4 on my S10

Ever since System Update 4, if I plug in my phone with the screen turned off, I get the "moisture detected" error. If I plug it in with the screen on, I do not get the error. What gives?!

When I say "ever since System Update 4", I mean starting from the first time I plugged in my phone after the update all the way through this morning.

sounds like the phone got wet at some point.
