***Announcement: Early next week, we’ll be merging the current Fios and Wireless Communities into the all new Verizon Community! Beginning the evening of Sunday 12/4, both Communities will be placed in read-only mode. You’ll still be able to visit the Communities and browse content, but login will be disabled. My new S21 FE phone doesn't count steps

I've been using Pacer as a pedometer for over five years, with no problems.  i've just upgraded to a new phone, and it stopped working.  Opening Pacer in the morning doesn't help, and restarting  the phone only works for about an hour.  Their tech support also suggested installing Samsung Health, and letting Pacer get its data from that, but Samsung Health doesn't work either, and if it did, I wouldn't need Pacer.  I've also told Nox Cleaner to Ignore both programs to keep it from stopping them when they're in the background, and  changing their  settings to let them have access to both battery and data when they're not open, but  nothing seems to work.  Does anybody have an idea of what might do the trick?
