Thank you for the clarification. I personally rely on My Verizon application, it makes managing very convenient. Before we do the Factory Data Reset, let's try to clear this up with the Reset All Settings. Here's the link: Reset All Settings - Samsung Galaxy S7 / S7 edge | Verizon Wireless.
I would also like you to send your feedback to the Developer for the My Verizon application. Please go to Play Store > My Verizon application > scroll down to Developer and send them an email.

See if today's My Verizon app update fixes the app crash. It now works as intended for me.
