Just got the new s8. Cannot get the phone to activate. Help?

What zip code are you located in? What service are you seeing at the top of the phone if any? Is your old phone powered off when trying to activate the S8? Have you activated the device online? make sure the old phone is off & call verizon from a pay phone!!! 800-922-0204
