No Battery Life

My phone will simply not hold a charge. I have 4 hour of battery life maximum. I have to keep turning my phone on and off to make sure I have enough battery life for when I need it. Driving, I just keep it on the charger.

Having enough battery life is essential to your day elryp3000. Let figure out why your battery isn't lasting all day. How long have you had this issue? Do you notice any specific apps that may be draining the battery? Here is a link with high risk apps vz.to/1wI4Vm1 .

Even when I close all apps except the essentials, the battery still drains. This has been happening for a while and is getting worse. I believe I have a bad battery. If I could just purchase another battery I would. However the battery in this phone is not exchangeable. What are my options? I am still under warranty as I have had the phone less than a year. Can I get a replacement at the Verizon store?

Every time you kill an application process, you are actually making it worse. Try to let the phone OS decide how long an application remains as a background process as it was designed to do.

How old is the phone? Was it better when new? If so you should be able to have a new battery installed for about $50.00. Call around to local phone repair stores & shop around for best price.
