Opening Location message using Message+ App

Greetings,
I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 (recently upgraded from the S3). On my old phone, if a friend who had an Iphone sent their location details via text I could click on the link, it would have me save the Vcard to either the phone cloud or my email account and then I could open the link to the website that would show a map of their general location.
While using the Messages+ application as my default messaging app when I click on the location link it states "Contact has no associated addresses".
How do I fix this so that I can see my friends location if they send it via text message?
Thanks.
