I have a voicemail notification that won't die. I've tried having my husband calling and leaving a message so I could go in and listen to it and then delete, but that didn't work. I've tried going into the apps settings and clearing both the cache and data. I've even turned off notifications. Short of resetting the phone to factory settings, what's the solution?

Which phone model do you have? Which voicemail system are you using, basic Verizon non-visual voicemail, basic Verizon visual voicemail, premium Verizon visual voicemail, or something else?
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S7 with the basic voicemail, no visual.

Call them. Only way it'll come off. But they'll have to delete everything and make a new one. Just did this a few days ago.
