Poor customer service from Asurion

Verizon needs to find another company to handle its phone protection plans! I am totally disappointed with Asurion. The technician that came to my home to fix my cracker screen took out the SIM card and neglected to put it back in. I did not use the phone right away after the  screen was fixed,so I did not realize that the technician had not replaced the SIM card back into the phone. The technician did not give me her name or phone number,and after going through 3 Asurion agents my choice was 1. They send me a SIM card which would take at least 2 days or 2. I have to drive to a Verizon store and pick up a free SIM card. With the first choice I am inconvenienced without the full use of my phone for 24 hrs. or more-we know how unreliable the postal system(FED EX,UPS) is. With the second choice,I am again inconvenienced because ther is not a Verizon store close to where I live. I informed the Asurion agent that for the negligence of their techician,the inconvenience of both of those options the least they could do was to refund back my  $29.00. In my opinion this would be good customer service. They did not agree.  So now I have to wait till morning (I have been on the phone with Asurion for the better part of 2 hrs.) to then call them(Asurion) back(and probably wait another 2 hrs.)...so they can call the technician to hopefully bring me out a SIM card first thing in the morning. They would not give me the technician's name or the name of the store she works at.  I have been a loyal Verizon customer for over 5 years. Verizon,be aware Asurion is not doing right by your customers.   Displeased in Geargia

A sim card is not worth $29 to be refunded that amount. A standard screen repair is around $100 without insurance. What doesn't make sense to me is why have it removed in the first place ..
