I updated my phone on March 23, 2018 and I have had nothing but problems with it. The led notification light says it is supposed to be green when I have a new text message on message but now all my notifications flash blue and I hate it because I depend on that to know the difference between everything. Also when i clear the notifications from the drop down screen it clears all the badges also. Just because i clear all the stuff from there does not mean I want to clear all the badges. I just dont want all the icons up top. Lastly when holding down on the shortcuts on the home screen they took away the ability to go right to the app info from there and clear badges. That was so convenient. Why are you guys making things worse and not better and sending out updates that are flawed. Get you [removed] together Verizon!

Software updates, especially when moving to a new version such as 8.0 Oreo, will almost always involve changes to what was in the previous build. These are not created by Verizon, as we only distribute what has been made by Google and refined by Samsung to work with your device. I'm sorry to hear that some of these changes were not aligned with what you preferred on your S8, and we have forwarded your feedback towards the applicable channels.

Fawn4797's comments represent a very common Oreo objection raised in this community in the time since Oreo was broadcast to S8 and S8+ users. It is definitely something that Google and Samsung need to know about.
