We have two S6 phones that recently upgraded to Nougat, one of which seems to be working fine but on the other phone (mine) I have an SMS issue. Specifically the "recently used emoticons" panel is always empty, which is something I would typically be making heavy use of. Any idea what, if anything, I could do about that? Using the Swype keyboard, if that makes a difference.

That does seem a bit odd, Chulett. I know that I use my recently used emoticons quite a bit. So I know how convenient this feature is. Want text message application are you currently using on your Galaxy S6 (Verizon Messages or a 3rd party app)? Please keep me posted.
