what is the procedure when the battery in a samsung galaxy S7 needs replacing?
Find an authorize dealer I believe they have one at best buys or call samsung and tell them where you live and they can tell you where
How do you know the battery needs replacing?
alohadon't have a samsung galaxy s7 yet. just doing research so i can decide if i want to get one. concerned about replacing a non-replaceable battery. emailed samsung and they said when it inevitably needed replacing i would have to send it into an authorized repair facility on the mainland, where they would replace the battery, for a fee, but also wipe out all info stored in the phone, and i would be without a phone for a week or more. that answer leads me to NOT get a smarty phone with a non-replaceable battery. i would have insurance through verizon, so is there another option for replacing a non-replaceable battery through them? i live on biggie island, hawaii, and the two verizon stores are each more than an hours drive away. also, called an independent cell phone repair store on the island and they said they could not replace a non-replaceable battery.cheers
