Samsung 7 Screen Impact Protector

At the Verizon Store located in Payson, Arizona (401 North Beeline Highway) we purchased a lifetime replacement guarantee for $32 to have the faceplate protector replaced in it needed it.  Now the store says they are no longer honoring the guarantee.  Can we get our money refunded then? Sounds like another scam from Verizon representatives.

I haven't heard of store locations replacing screen protectors under warranty, but for those accessories that offer a lifetime replacement guarantee they're replaced through the manufacturer.

A common popular one is the Zagg InvisibleShied, so the lifetime replacements can be processed via their website- InvisibleShield Replacements

Depending on the brand of yours if its not Zagg you can contact the specific manufacturer for replacements under the warranty, or be refunded for the product at the store if you're still within the purchase return period.

I don't care if you've heard of it before or not.  The store location sold it as a lifetime replacement at their store location (not a website).  Shows me (again) Verizon has no idea about their product(s) or representatives.  Not surprising though.

That may be, but in this case since the screen protector isn't a Verizon product, and wasn't purchased from them or their employees you may be able to get better answers to your questions by contacting the company who you made the purchase from (TCC/The Cellular Connection) to find out why they aren't aren't honoring a product guarantee they offered or for refund options, especially since Verizon hasn't offered such a replacement guarantee like that in their store locations.

Exactly as deloused posted Smiley Happy.

You are stating Verizon and it's employees have no idea about their products or representatives but it is you that is in the dark.

This is not a Verizon store, it clearly shows 2 indirect company's at that address selling Verizon service with the first listed as TCC Payson and the second as Payson wireless.

Rather than bashing Verizon about something that has nothing whatsoever to do with Verizon Wireless, contact the company you went to and ask them about this.

Sorry.  You can try to distance yourself from stores who imply they are part of Verizon (whether they are or not).  Even if what you say is true it is still a black eye on you as they are selling your product (and accessories whether they are directly related to Verizon or not) and then not honoring original agreements.  If I had a product as widespread as Verizon I sure wouldn't let these 2nd hand stores distribute my phone and sub-standard accessories/services.

Sorry, but a company called TCC Payson, and Payson Wireless lead me to believe pretty simply that they are not Verizon store's.

Just because they sell Verizon service means they are as much Verizon as McDonalds is Coca Cola because of the sale of their drinks in the store.

Indirect resellers only sell the service and almost exclusively sell their own accessory brands, offer their own insurance programs etc. I am sorry you were not informed or educated  on the matter, but this does not mean that it again, has anything whatsoever to do with Verizon wireless as a company, and is certainly something that you should take up with that company. Again, these RE-SELLERS are the ones that made the decision to offer this accessory deal, and to rescind it and it is only natural to speak to them about THEIR product/offering.
