Samsung Crap S4

I have had enough with my S 4. Everything from 2 replacement batteries and customer service wanting to give me someone elses used piece of crap. The phone gets so hot I have to take out of my pocket and then battery goes from 90% to 10% in 20 minutes. Buying this phone was big mistake. Samsung makes a terrible phone and Verizon does nothing to help. They just want me to get another used S4 that someone turned in because they had bad problems with theirs. I am trying to find my old bionic phone and throw this phone in my desk drawer.

My husband has had the same exact problem. After a new battery, it did it again. He received a used replacement and guess what???? SAME PROBLEM!

Hi 2girls1boy,

I would be upset as well if this was happening to my phone. Let's get this worked out. What apps does your husband run on his phone? Is his software up to date? http://vz.to/1pHAXMf Keep us posted.

Thanks, BobbyS_VZW

We don't want you to give up on such a great phone, Beach327. Although it isn't an article by Samsung or Verizon, the link StreetDocRN provided has some fantastic suggestions to help with the battery and overheating trouble you've described. If a replacement is needed, the one year warranty does replace your device with a Certified Like-New Replacement http://vz.to/uyYF0o. You may also bring your phone, battery, and all chargers used for your S4 to a local Verizon Wireless store http://bit.ly/3SdsA for a hands-on inspection.

As an alternative, you do have the option to reach out to your phone's manufacturer directly for your warranty. Samsung can be reached by phone at 888-987-4357 or online at www.samsung.com/us/support/contact. They may provide you with alternative solutions or the option to send your phone to them for repair. However, the replacement devices that we send have gone through rigorous testing to ensure they are like-new and rarely have repeat issues unless it's caused by an application or external source.
