Has anyone else had the issue where the Verizon store rep told you that your Galaxy phone was eligible for the 1 year upgrade and then a year later your told that it was not?
I bought my S7 Edge in October of 2016 after the great Note 7 debacle and was told by my store rep that after a year I could upgrade to a new phone. I went in to my store last week and wanted to upgrade to the Note 8 but was told that my phone did not have the year upgrade on it. Come to find out the promotion ended at the end of September and that the girl that sold me the S7 messed up. I called Verizon support and told them what was going on and they told me that there was nothing they could do, even though their employee messed up.
Has this happened to anyone else and what was done about it?
