My dad's brand new Samsung Galaxy S21 FE works great, except it cant receive pictures over text message for some reason... It can send pictures just fine but everytime someone tries to send one it says the message failed. We have tried sending pics with at least 5+ different models of phone and they all fail to be sent to my dads phone every time.

kwb4, we understand the importance of staying connected and we are happy to help in any way possible. To clarify, can he receive standard SMS texts on the new phone? Any issues with calls or data? Have you restarted the device?

Hi! Yes he can receive (and send) normal SMS texts just fine, no issues with calls or data. He can also SEND pictures to others over text message but for whatever reason he can't receive them. Anytime anyone tries to send him a picture over text message it fails.

We know it's important to make sure picture messages are able to be received, kwb4. We want to get to the bottom of this. Please send us a Private Note, so we can assist.

A simple text message is SMS (Short Message Service). A picture attached is an MMS (Multimedia Messaging Service). Is there a setting on your device relating to incoming MMS support/handling?
