Stagefright.H

I woke up this morning to my 2nd message in three months that Verizon's Security & Provacy App has found a file infected with Stagefright.H in a long pathway that contains "Instagram" in it.  Both times I have chosen to remove the file (per guidance of the app), and taken screemshots of the message.

I can't seem to find any current information (since 2015) on this issue and am not sure if I am removing the threat completely by removing the file or of I need to take further action.  Also, it is not clear as to whether my phone has been patched or is still vulnerable to new infections.

Help is here for you, KatzeChizX. It's important that your device is up to date and not affected by outside infections. Google did release updates for this. Let's double check your device. What is the current software in your phone? When did you receive the first message? Have you installed any new apps?
