Why is the stock version of Swype (version that came preinstalled on the S4) different to that of the version available via Google Store for $0.99 cents?
There are features available on the Google Store paid version, such as the changeable keyboard themes and layouts, that are not available on the stock version. I just updated my device to the 4.3 hoping an update to Swype was included but see no change. Are these features something that will soon be included, or do I have to spend extra money (regardless how much) for something that should have already been included with the app?
If you purchase the app from the Play Store, it should install on top of the pre-installed version.
I don't have any idea if the changes would be incorporated into a update that would come with the system update.
