MY OLD S10 WAS DROPPED AND IS IN THE BOTTOM OF A LAKE.
I WAS SENT A NEW S10 VIA INSURANCE WITH A NEW SIM CARD.
I CANT 2 STEP VERIFY MY SAMSUNG ACCOUNT VIA TEXT MESSAGE CODE, BECAUSE MY OLD PHONE IS IN THE BOTTOM OF A LAKE.
I DONT KNOW THE BACKUP CODE.
I DONT HAVE THE BOX FOR THE OLD PHONE AND NO I CANT GET THE TEXT VERIFICATION TEXTS BECAUSE, MY PHONE IS AT THE BOTTOM OF A LAKE!!!
THE NEW PHONE DOES NOT HAVE MY SAMSUNG ACCOUNT INFO IN THE ACCOUNT SETTINGS IN THE "ABOUT PHONE" SETTINGS MENU
THE ONLY OPTION IS TO UPDATE THE ACCOUNTS PHONE NUMBER BY PRESENTING THE SERIAL # AND IMEI OF A GALAXY DEVICE THAT HAS LOGGED INTO THE SAMSUNG ACCOUNT IN THE PAST.
HOW AM I SUPPOSE TO SPEND MONEY ON VERIZON PHONES IF I CANT BUY ANOTHER SAMSUNG VIA SAMSUNG.COM WITH MY VERIFICATION CODE BEING TEXTED TO A PHONE THATS AT THE BOTTOM OF A LAKE!!
People actually use those? Never bothered making one with my old Samsung tablet and didn't bother making one for this S20 and everything is fine not bothering. Forget the Samsung account altogether and use Google instead.
I am fairly certain you can call Samsung Tech support and they will help you get set-up with your account on your replacement phone. Shouldn't be a problem!
