Unable to play video games on laptop using phone hotspot

I have a Samsung Galaxy S10+ and up until Thursday, was able to use my phone hotspot to play online games on my laptop. We live in a rural area with highly unreliable internet, so our data plan has been vital to staying connected. I can still do everything else, but when I go to connect to the dedicated server it registers that I am not online even though I am connected, secured in my internet options. I have even tried tethering with the USB and the same thing occurs.

What can I do to get me back online and gaming with my team?

Verizon's mobile hotspot was never intended for that. To game online properly you need a reliable, hardwired connection.

Last I was in this situation, I moved. Either move to somewhere that cares about infrastructure or petition your local government to do something about it.

bildo007,

Being able to count on your hotspot is always a big deal. We want to get that fixed so you can get the most out of your device. Have you tried restarting both the laptop and phone since this issue began? Are you able to connect any other devices to that hotspot?
