Hi! I have some international travel coming up and it requires downloading/using Contact tracing apps for specific countries while travelling there. I am thinking of taking my previous VZ device (Galaxy s7) for this purpose, whereby I can just put in a local SIM for that country for smooth functionality. Dont want to buy the TravelPass thru VZ. I charged my s7 yesterday and it said activation required. Do I really care about that part since I am going to be putting in a local SIM? I am assuming that the phone should function OK once I do that. Any thoughts/input? Thanks!
