I have a S22 Ultra. Android Ver. 12. Everytime someone texts me with a video file, it comes in split as a static image and an audio file.
I've tried resetting network settings, I've tried restarting the device, and clearing the data on the Messages app.
I'd very much not like to have to do a factory reset as that's a huge pain.
Can anyone help me with this?

Hello! Are you able to click on the video and does it play?

No I'm not. It simply gives me a photo and audio file. I can view the photo, which is low res, and I can play the audio. But no video.

Thank you for the helpful information, Alterangel. Very strange that this is happening, and we want to get to the bottom of this. Does this happen when your device is on Wi-Fi or the cell phone network? Does this happen with other applications (Messaging app, Verizon Messages, etc.)?
