I can't seem to get the visual voice mail to work on my new S3. I've been paying for the service for years, and it worked fine on my old phone. When I click the app it tells me it's unable to verify subscription status and I should try again later. I've verified on my account that they're charging me for the service, any ideas on what might be going on?

I can't speak to the subscription from Verizon for visual voicemail. I can speak to services from Google Voice. I am hearing impaired, and it is so nice to have transcripts of voicemail messages - so I use Google Voice. I have it set up to come in as a text as well. Best of all its FREE and works beautifully. You may want to check it out and give up the verizon VVM.

Although quite often the transcription service will give incorrect results.

True, not perfectly accurate, but enough for someone like me to understand what I need. I can't compare it to verizon's since i've never used that.
