Weak signal issue

Just got this S8  and switched from an old note s4. Never had problems with signal anywhere but now I barely get 2 bars. I already switched my network to LTE/CDMA but doesn't seem to help. What other solution is there, outside replacing this phone?

You could try resetting network settings or a different SIM card.
