Where are my saved text messages?

I have the S6 Edge and I am using the message+ app. When I save my text conversations how do I get to them to view them? I seem to have found some files in my storage but cannot open them. Are they saved somewhere else? I have even tried to email them to try and open them that way but no luck. There has got to be a better way. This is ridiculous.

Thank you tikibar1 I saw your thread before I posted my question and I still cant access the files. They are automatically saved as .vzm files and I cant get any program to open them. I tried saving as .html file, saved them in different folders, emailed them to my gmail,  etc... still nothing. Maybe I am not going to the right place? Settings..Storage..Other....VZMessages. Do you have any other suggestions?

To be honest, I never had any luck opening those files either; I use a backup/restore app as noted in the other thread, i.e.,

Had this same problem. Accidentally found them when I saved new message. Probably not the intended access, but it works. Long press a conversation and select "save messages." The list of already saved messages comes up. Tap the one you want to view and then tap "restore" option. It will now appear in your conversation list. Just push "cancel" if you don't want to save the message you used to access the list. Hope this helps.
