Ok, my S4 had an update ota last night. I saw the new additions and one of them was finally the WiFi toggle in the pulldown menu. I dont see it and Im really mad. Finally though, I can move some apps to the SD card but where is the Wifi toggle?
I saw today that VZ was selling the 32gig S4 for the same price I paid for the 16gig version I got at the end of May. Really? Bunch of scammers I say.

I too have this question. My update applied OTA today and for as long as it took and as large as it was, there was surprisingly little to it. I am not even finding all of what VZW said was in it. I find no WiFi toggle in the Notification pull-down. I also have no Samsung Apps icon now. There is no mention of Samsung KNOX. Heck, there is not even a way to update the PRL on the device that I can find.
Compared to a co-workers S3, I have only two Live Wallpapers while he has a whole list of them.
But the things I was interested in just did not show up in this update. How about google wallet support? Maybe Samsung KNOX. A way to update the PRL would be nice.
As long as the carriers are in charge of Android and not Google and / or Samsung... We are doomed to this sort of feature fragmentation.

If you want to see the wifi toggle after applying this patch, you will need to perform a factory reset. It seems the update doesn't fully apply unless a factory reset is performed. Many of us have aslo experienced the phone hanging at the splash screen after every reboot. The factory reset solved this.
Also, beware: this update applies a bootloader lock that in essence will eliminate any possibility of rooting the device, and prevent you from downgrading out of it.

I was just about to post this as well. It was after I did a factory reset that the WiFi toggle finally showed up. Bug in the OTA update process it seems.

thank you all. It was a bit of a pain saving stuff but I reset and all is good.

Sadly - the toggle was added but the "ongoing wifi connection" is still there. I wish that was removed.

OK.
So I have to wipe my phone (and all my apps and settings) with a factory reset in order to get the WiFi Toggle, but after I do that, the annoying WiFi pop-up is still there? Yeah, right. Thanks, but no thanks.
To make up for this Snafu, maybe they can try to get the Blocking Mode put back on the phone with the next update.
Thanks again.

The WiFi notification has always been on the notification screen when I drag from top to bottom on the screen. It's one of the ongoing notices.
