Why can't I get any apps to download?

I cannot get any to download. I have cleaned out a bunch. Verizon Wireless Customer Support

I finally got it to work late last night. I cleared the cashe on all apps,

then turned on my WiFi & now we're good.

Thank you!

I have the galaxy S5.

When I go to the play store and click am app to download, it looks like

it's downloading but never gets there. Just keeps running. No little icon

on the top of my home page to show it's downloading either.

***hope I'm using the right terminology

I've tried about 5 apps, nothing works.

I cannot think of anything different that happened. I noticed it about 3

weeks ago.

Oddly enough I can download apps via Amazon. This leads me to believe it's

the play store & not the phone.

VegasCharmer, I want to make sure that you're able to download new applications from the Google Play Store without any issues. When your trying to download a new app are you on wi-fi or the cellular network? I would recommend on trying to clear the Google Play Store Cache. I am experiencing the same when trying to download any apps. Just the spinning window trying to download and never completes, just runs until it eventually gives up. I just bought the phone and I have tried it at home and at work in two different cities and both connected to WiFi.
