My Samsung S4 Mini used to turn my apps off automatically. I had very little problem with overages on my data plan. Did Verizon do something to make the apps eat up the data plan by not turning the app off when you go to another app or turn off the phone? I just purchased an extra 1GB of Data. Within 1-2 days it has been eaten up! What can I do to prevent this. I believe that Verizon is trying to force large data plans on the public.

Overage charges are pesky. I'm here to help figure out where the data is being used. I just want to make sure we are on the same page, what do you mean by "used to turn my apps off automatically"? What do you normally like to do on your phone? Are you able to connect your device to Wifi?
