Why is my service bad? I constantly have only 1 bar and can't even text from home

For the past 9 months, suddenly my service stinks.  I only have 1 bar sitting at home and texts won't even send.  This has been going on a long time.  Now today it's really bad.  What the heck???

Samsung Galaxy 7.  My zip code at home is 65706 and at work where I have problems as well is 65806

Still slower than molasses.  Apps are slow, a few dropped calls mostly upsets me because I text and when I'm sitting at home (65706) and I can't get a text to go out, it's very frustrating.

Have you tried using Wi-Fi calling?  With it, your signal level makes no difference.
